I found a great blog about weddings today! I am going to a wedding in Ohio this weekend so the blog sparked my interest. Today's blog talked about how to arrange a candy buffet for a wedding. There are so many styles you can go with: monochromatic (1 color), a combination of different hues of the same color, a rainbow of colors, and then there is also variation in the vases, glasses, and dishes used to display the candy.
Jelly beans seem to be a great place to start, but I'd like to suggest some other ideas.....
Our Jolly Pops, Tootsie Pops, and Tootsie Roll Frooties come in specific colors, as well as assorted, in order to keep with your wedding color scheme.
Then there are the Whirly Pops! As of right now we have them available in rainbow, USA red/white/blue, and assorted colors. These are your old fashioned 3-inch diameter round lollipops with a large stick- so great as a party favor!
Lastly, it is helpful for any wedding planner or bride to visit our Color Page. We have all types of candy categorized by color to make your wedding tasty and colorful!
Now don't hold back with weddings! Remember this concept works for baby and bridal showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, as well as fundraiser events.
Get your candy buffet on!
Pam, Just a quick note to say I enjoyed your comment you left on the Mantiques blog post yesterday! I'll look forward to getting to know you through your blog.
Best Regards,

I just went to a wedding that had a candy buffet! Each guest was given a small jar to bring up to the buffet and fill with their choices. The buffet had hershey kisses, m&m's (plain & peanut), snaps, gummies, minature chocolate bars and twizzlers! It was great fun for all.
