Candy Buffets for Weddings

 I found a great blog about weddings today! I am going to a wedding in Ohio this weekend so the blog sparked my interest.  Today's blog talked about how to arrange a candy buffet for a wedding. There are so many styles you can go with: monochromatic (1 color), a combination of different hues of the same color, a rainbow of colors, and then there is also variation in the vases, glasses, and dishes used to display the candy.

Jelly beans seem to be a great place to start, but I'd like to suggest some other ideas.....

What Flavor Lollipop would YOU like to see?

So I just received an inquiry regarding the flavors of Dum Dum Lollipops. The reader asked about how to get Mountain Dew flavored Dum Dums. So then I started thinking- this is a great idea! All the wonderful flavors out there could make sensational lollipops!

Charms Zip-a-dee Mini Pops makes some great flavors such as cotton candy, bubble gum, pink lemonade, grapefruit, green apple, and more!

Dum Dum has like 16 different flavors including a mystery flavor! Root beer, Cherry Cola, Cream Soda, Chocolate, Coconut Pineapple- to name just a few of the unique ones.

Then of course the company who started the flavor craze- Jelly Belly- has infamous flavors such as buttered popcorn, cappuccino, orange sherbet, and so on.

My point is, if you could come up with a flavor for a lollipop or piece of candy- send me your idea! The best idea just might get a free 5lbs of candy!

My lollipop flavor would be CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER! Now wouldn't that be sensational??

All Candy Expo Comes to an End

What a whirlwind! The Candy Expo may have come and gone, but the good news is that we are stocking up on fun new candy! 

 Items such as Banana Tootsie Pops, M&Ms Coconut, Snicker's Fudge Bar, Baby Ruth Crisp, and Hershey's Pieces (just like Reese's Pieces, but with Hershey's brands).

Today, we are cleaning up the warehouse from the Memorial Day rush of patriotic candy that has been shipped out. Next week- getting new product in to restock for summertime parades, festivals, and parties!
